Manufactured by Anton Schneider, this 8-Day, Railroad-style cuckoo clock is elongated with maple leaf motiff. It is unusual, in the sense, that it has a dancer balcony, which is lower than the dial (rather than above it–like most cuckoo clocks have). Very-detailed hand-painted wooden cuckoo bird and moving dancer figurines.
This authentic cuckoo clock was hand-carved and hand-crafted in the Black Forest region of Germany.
Music is played from a quality, Swiss-made, 36-note, 2-tune, mechanical music box movement. This music box usually comes with the very popular, Edelweiss and Happy Wanderer song combination (playing one melody on the hour and the other on the half hour). However, the song combination may differ in some instances (depending on factory availability).
Automatic night time shut off. The weights have to be pulled up every eight days (or weekly).
